NIA Receives Best of the Web Honors for New Website

min Best of the Web Award

Reston, Virginia—May 2017—The National Insulation Association (NIA) is pleased to announce that the organization’s newly redesigned website, www.Insulation.org, was recently honored by Media Industry News (min), the industry authority for magazine media news, networking, awards, and events. NIA received an honorable mention distinction in the category of Redesign/Relaunch, which honors exceptional work in the digital space. The award program recognizes outstanding social media, web, and mobile initiatives among publishers of digital content for consumer, business, association, and online-only publications.

“We are so excited to receive another national award for our redesigned website. We are very proud of the clean design and updated content, and thrilled to be honored alongside other business-to-business, business-to-consumer, association, and online-only publishers,” said NIA Executive Vice President/CEO Michele M. Jones.

NIA was the only non-profit or association finalist for the website category. The category was won by the National Geographic Society, and other finalists included Allure, Kiplinger, and SELF.

NIA has previously won the Salute to Association Excellence Bronze-level award from Association Trends for the website redesign.

NIA’s mobile-optimized site is user-friendly with improved navigation and search functionality to deliver information and resources to its audiences, including NIA members, insulation system designers and operators, and those who are looking for information about the numerous benefits of insulation for mechanical systems. The vendor for the redesign project was Matrix Group International, a digital agency in Arlington, Virginia.
