NIA’s 62nd Annual Convention Registration

NIA’s 62^nd Annual Convention is open to NIA members, Thermal Insulation Association of Canada (TIAC) members, and non-members in the mechanical insulation industry. NIA members who register online will be asked to enter their user name and password. If you do not have this information, email niainfo@insulation.org or call 703-464-6422 for assistance. Register by March 8, 2017 and take advantage of early-bird rate. Payment must be received by March 8, 2017 in order to qualify for the early-bird rate.

NIA Convention Attendance and Entertainment Policies

NIA’s Convention Committee designed this year’s program with members in mind to ensure a balance of quality education, networking events, and fun. We appreciate your support of this schedule and, per NIA’s Meetings I-3, Member Entertainment/Meeting Policy, we ask that there be no independent or company-planned entertainment or meetings during scheduled NIA Convention sessions, programs, or events. Additionally, we ask that all Convention attendees adhere to the 6:1 ratio for entertaining on Friday’s open evening. (One paid Convention attendee may entertain 6 other paid Convention registrants.) No individual event or daily Convention registration rates are available. Children ages 3–12 must register at the youth rate in order to attend Convention functions. Anyone working in the industry must register at the appropriate member/non-member rate and may not register as a spouse/guest. By registering for this event, you agree that your image may be used and distributed in NIA communications and media.

Registration Fees

Convention registration fees include 3 continental breakfasts, 3 full dinners (with open bars), 3 nights of entertainment, all educational sessions, and committee meetings. Please choose the price corresponding to your membership type.

Optional Registration

NIA’s Golf Tournament (March 31)—$230 per player (includes all tournament costs, a box lunch, prizes, GPS golf cart, and golf bag pick-up and return on the day of the tournament). Club rentals, which include 6 golf balls, are available through the golf course for $60, plus tax, and will be billed to your hotel reservation the day of the tournament.

Spouse Programs—Pre-registration is recommended for programs included in the spouse registration fee, including the Lip Print Reading, Champagne, and Chocolate―The Ultimate Ladies Event! on Thursday, March 30 and the Texas Hold ‘Em Workshop on Friday, March 31. There is no additional fee for registered spouses to attend these programs. Space is limited, so sign up today!

Registration will not be complete until payment has been received by NIA. Early bird registration rates are only available if payment is received by March 8, 2017. You may send NIA a check, call the office with your credit card number at 703-464-6422, or fax your payment information to 703-464-5896. Registration Policies

Payment in U.S. dollars must accompany the registration form. Make checks payable to NIA and send to 12100 Sunset Hills Road, Suite 330, Reston, VA 20190.

Convention Registration Fee Refunds

All refund requests MUST be made in writing. Refunds will be disbursed as follows: Before February 3, 2016: full refund; after February 3, 2017: 50% registration fee refunded; after March 8, 2017: 25% registration fee refunded; after March 22, 2017: no refund available.

Golf Tournament Fee Refunds

All refund requests must be made in writing. A full refund is available until March 8, 2017. After March 8, 2017, there will be no tournament refunds.
