NIA\u2019s Golf Tournament on Thursday, March 31, will be held at the Canyons Course. <\/a>\u00a0This course will also host the Pro-Am event associated with the Valero Texas Open.<\/p>\n

Valero Texas Open: We've Got Your PGA VTO Golf Ticket!<\/h3>\n

NIA\u2019s Convention attendees are in for a treat with the 100th<\/sup>\u00a0Anniversary VTO taking place at the hotel property Mar. 28\u2013Apr. 3, 2022, and nearly 150 of the world's top golf professionals on site. Registered attendees, including spouses\/guests\/kids, will receive one VTO complimentary one-day ticket. Daily tickets are required. Register for Convention early<\/a> to get your preferred VTO ticket date\u2014requests are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.<\/p>\n

VTO Tickets will be sent to attendees the week of March 28th, click here for more information on how to access your electronic ticket via Ticketmaster.<\/a><\/p>\n

If you attended the VTO as part of NIA\u2019s Convention in 2015, you may remember that your hotel key card granted you access to the full golf tournament, but this is no longer a way to access the tournament.<\/p>\n

NIA's Golf Tournament: Canyons Course<\/h3>\n

Due to the differing topography, the Pete Dye-designed Canyons course, provides you the experience of a true Texas hill country golf course with majestic views of the rolling hills, indigenous flora, and surrounding Cibolo Canyons. The layout features wide fairways with oak and cedar trees. The course played host to PGA TOUR Champions San Antonio Championship from 2011-2015.<\/p>\n

The course is located within walking distance of the hotel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The 18\u2013hole scramble will have a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start. Gather your industry colleagues and friends for an afternoon of networking and friendly competition! *Preference will be given to foursomes.<\/p>\n

Pre-registration is required and the per player fee of $290 includes all tournament costs, a boxed lunch, GPS golf cart, prizes, and golf bag pick-up and return on the day of the tournament.<\/p>\n

*If you wish to create your own foursome, please contact the players to ensure their willingness to participate in the foursome, and then email NIA at events@insulation.org<\/em> to confirm that all players are registered for both the Convention and the Golf Tournament.<\/p>\n

Golf Shirts Available<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Golf shirts are available in men\u2019s and women\u2019s styles.<\/p>\n

  • Men's style: Teal Nike Victory golf shirt, features the NIA and TPC San Antonio logos.<\/li>\n
  • Women's style: White Nike Victory golf shirt, features the NIA and TPC San Antonio logos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
