Note: the designations polyolefin and polyethylene refer to the same<br \/>\ntype of material and are considered synonymous.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=BasicParagraph style=':justify'><span style='-size:10.0pt;\nline-height:120%;-family:\"Calibri\",\"sans-serif\";color:windowtext'>Polyethylene\/polyolefin<br \/>\nare flexible, closed cell insulation products. The maximum water permeability<br \/>\nvalues are 0.05 perm-inch and the maximum thermal conductivity is 0.35<br \/>\nBTU-in\/hr sq ft\u00b0F at a mean temperature of 75\u00b0F.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=BasicParagraph style=':justify'><span style='-size:10.0pt;\nline-height:120%;-family:\"Calibri\",\"sans-serif\";color:windowtext'>The<br \/>\npreformed tubular insulation is available in ID size range from 3\/8&#8243; to 4 IPS<br \/>\nand in wall thicknesses from 3\/8&#8243; to 1&#8243;. The tubular product is available with<br \/>\nand without pre-applied adhesive. They are suitable for domestic plumbing<br \/>\napplications where the maximum temperature is below 200\u00b0F. The<br \/>\npolyethylene\/polyolefin insulations are formulated to meet the flame spread<br \/>\nindex of less than 25 and smoke developed index of less than 50.<a\nname=\"_GoBack\"><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=BasicParagraph style=':justify'><span style='-size:10.0pt;\nline-height:120%;-family:\"Calibri\",\"sans-serif\";color:windowtext'>These<br \/>\nmaterials are generally applied without additional vapor retarder facings. All<br \/>\nseams including termination points must be sealed with manufacturer recommended<br \/>\ncontact adhesive.
