NIA\u2019s meetings and events are designed to meet the needs of our members and provide valuable networking opportunities, educational programming, and the chance to be involved in industry issues and planning. Our primary meetings take place at NIA\u2019s Annual Convention and the Fall Summit. For more information on all of our meetings and educational programming, please email events@insulation.org<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div> <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div> <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div> NIA's Annual Convention<\/strong><\/a> is a members-only meeting. This meeting allows attendees to focus on the business of the industry and discuss the latest industry issues from a peer-to-peer national perspective. NIA's 69th Annual Convention will be held April 28-30, 2025 at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch. This property will be transitioning and rebranding to a Grand Hyatt in 2025.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div> <\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div> NIA\u2019s Fall Summit<\/strong><\/a> is a members-only meeting and is designed to \u201cEducate, Engage, Elevate.\u201d<\/strong> This meeting allows attendees to focus on the business of the industry and discuss the latest industry issues from a peer-to-peer national perspective. The Fall Summit will take place October 28-29, 2024 at the MGM National Harbor, Maryland.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div> <\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div> NIA's Thermal Insulation Inspector Certification\u2122 <\/sup><\/strong><\/a>is a 2-part, 4-day course to educate insulation inspectors on how to evaluate installation work and determine whether it is compliant with mechanical insulation specifications. This course is designed for experienced participants and can help companies extend their business offerings to include inspections. The course is helpful for anyone who has responsibility for a wide range of responsibilities, including contracts, maintenance, business development, quality assurance (QA)\/quality control (QC), project oversight, safety, inspections, estimating, management, product development, mechanical insulation system design, and specification development.<\/p>\n To become a Certified Thermal Insulation Inspector, class participants must complete both levels and receive a passing grade on the final examination at the end of each level.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div> <\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div> With a new, fresh look, NIA's Insulation Energy Appraisal Program (IEAP)<\/strong><\/a> is a 2-day course that teaches students how to determine the optimal insulation thickness and corresponding energy and dollar savings for a project. The course is designed for participants who have industry experience and companies that want to expand their business capabilities by adding insulation appraisals to show insulation's return on investment to their customers.
