Some government construction agencies (General Services Administration, Department of Housing and Urban Development, Department of Defense, Corps of Engineers, etc.) issue specifications or standards that designated insulation materials. This guide is intended to serve the limited purpose of describing, in a general way, the specifications and standards so designated.
