Reston, VA —March 27, 2017—The National Insulation Association’s (NIA’s) members-only meeting, the Fall Summit, is taking place September 12–13 in Houston, Texas, at the George R. Brown Convention Center. NIA’s Fall Summit is designed to “Educate, Engage, and Elevate,” by providing actionable content for attendees that companies can implement to improve their businesses.

NIA’s Fall Summit includes topical speakers, open committee meetings, tailored industry sessions, networking opportunities to develop new business relationships, and admission to Insulation Expo (IEX) USA and the Turbomachinery & Pump Symposia (TPS) trade show floors. Bonus pre-NIA Fall Summit training begins on Monday afternoon, September 11, followed by a Networking Reception. Immediately following NIA’s Fall Summit, NIA is offering an Insulation Energy Appraisal Program (IEAP) training course on September 13–14, rounding out 4 days of training, educational, and networking events that attendees can customize to fit their business needs and schedules. The IEAP course requires a separate registration fee, and discounts are available for NIA members who register for both NIA’s Fall Summit and the IEAP training course.

Included in NIA’s Fall Summit registration is unlimited attendee access to Reed Exhibitions’ IEX USA, the North American trade show for the mechanical insulation industry that is being co-located at the George R. Brown Convention Center on September 12–13. IEX USA will connect the suppliers of insulation products, services, and technologies; sheet metal suppliers; and equipment manufacturers with engineers; contractors; facility operators; maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) managers; distributors; plant/building managers; specifiers; and architects. The trade show will also include a learning theater and live product demonstrations. As a member benefit, NIA member companies that exhibit at IEX USA will receive 2 complimentary registration passes for NIA’s Fall Summit, a value of $225.

NIA’s Executive Vice President/CEO Michele M. Jones noted, “NIA’s Fall Summit provides our members with a concentrated and focused format filled with educational programming and business networking events, which allows them to take advantage of a number of presentations, topical discussions, and peer interaction in a format that limits their time spent out of the office. The IEX USA show adds an additional opportunity to be in the same location with engineers and mechanical insulation end users. It’s the Super Bowl for the mechanical insulation industry. We are looking forward to building upon the launch of the inaugural IEX USA show and continuing to serve our mission to increase awareness of our industry’s products and services. We encourage all our members to attend this targeted and exciting industry event this year. NIA’s Fall Summit registration is a great value, and the addition of the IEX USA show makes it invaluable for our industry.”

Representatives from Reed Exhibitions are attending NIA’s 62nd Annual Convention in Phoenix, Arizona, March 29–April 1, to provide additional information about IEX USA to Convention attendees. All NIA members are welcome to attend NIA’s Fall Summit and IEX USA, and attendees do not have to be a current or past committee member to participate in the forums and committee meetings.
