Herndon, Virginia—May 6, 2025—The National Insulation Association (NIA) is pleased to announce its officers for 2025, led by NIA’s new President, Rick Sutphin. The Executive Committee officers were elected to their positions on April 27 during the NIA Board of Directors meeting.
The full slate of Board representatives were approved following a majority vote by NIA’s Active membership during NIA’s Business Session on April 29 that took place in conjunction with NIA’s 69th Annual Convention, April 28–30, 2025, in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Rick Sutphin is Senior Vice President, Operations, for Performance Contracting, Inc., (PCI), which is headquartered in Lenexa, Kansas. Sutphin brings more than four decades of expertise and innovation to the insulation industry. During his term as NIA’s President, his message will emphasize Association Strong—70 Years, highlighting the association’s accomplishments over the past 70 years and building a strong foundation for future mechanical insulation industry success.

NIA’s next member meeting is the Fall Summit, taking place October 28–29, 2025, at the MGM National Harbor in Maryland. Rick Sutphin’s term concludes at NIA’s 70th Annual Convention, which will take place March 24–26, 2026, El Conquistador Resort, Fajardo, Puerto Rico.
