NIA Announces New 2026 Executive Committee and Board of Directors

2026-2027 Executive Committee of NIA

Herndon, Virginia—March 31, 2026—The National Insulation Association (NIA) is pleased to announce its officers for 2026, led by NIA’s new President, John Stevens. The Executive Committee officers were elected to their positions on March 23 during the NIA Board of Directors meeting.

The full slate of Board representatives were approved following a majority vote by NIA’s Active membership during NIA’s Business Session on March 25 that took place in conjunction with NIA’s 70th Annual Convention, March 24–26, 2026, in Fajardo, Puerto Rico.

John Stevens is Vice President for JT THORPE and brings more than four decades of leadership in mechanical insulation, scaffolding, and industrial contracting. During his term as NIA’s President, his message will emphasize Honoring the Craft, highlighting the essential role of skilled professionals and reinforcing the value of workforce development across the mechanical insulation industry.

Upcoming NIA Meetings

NIA’s next member meeting is the Fall Summit, taking place October 28–29, 2026, at the MGM National Harbor in Maryland. John Stevens’ term concludes at NIA’s 71st Annual Convention, which will take place April 12–14, 2027, at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando in Grande Lakes, Orlando, Florida.
