Reston, VA—April 12, 2018—The National Insulation Association’s® (NIA’s) Fall Summit is a members-only meeting designed to “Educate, Engage, and Elevate” through topical speakers, open committee meetings, tailored industry sessions, and networking opportunities to develop new business relationships.
Rebranded in 2015 to the Fall Summit, NIA’s fall member meeting continues to build upon the success of its long-standing, committee-focused work. To further reflect the growing emphasis on education, training, and networking at this meeting, NIA President Darrel Bailey has launched the new Fall Summit Committee, whose objective is to work with NIA staff to develop valuable content, including subject matter experts, educational programming, and networking opportunities. NIA welcomes member input on meeting topics year-round; email any suggestions to training@insulation.org.
“Adapting to meet challenges is the key to our industry’s long-term success, and expanding member-driven education and networking at our fall member meeting will help our members grow their businesses. Through this committee’s work, we will continue to improve every opportunity to serve the needs of our members,” said Mr. Bailey.
Looking ahead to 2019, the NIA Board of Directors has decided to separate from any future Reed Exhibitions’ Insulation Expo (IEX) USA shows. Based on thorough discussions and consideration of survey results from past NIA Fall Summit attendees and NIA member companies that exhibited at IEX USA, NIA will no longer co-locate our Fall Summit meeting with this show, should the IEX USA show continue to exist.
In addition, NIA is seeking member input on the location for the 2019 Fall Summit and is asking members to rank the following 4 potential locations: Washington, DC area; Baltimore, Maryland; Chicago, Illinois area; and Nashville, Tennessee.
