How do I subscribe?

Subscriptions are through your company. The primary representatives of each company can subscribe via the subscription page https://tinyurl.com/22cbd9fa. After signing up, your company will have access as a Premier Training Subscriber through December 2023.

How many courses are included with my subscription?

NIA currently has close to 55 courses, with new courses being added throughout the year. Access to popular courses such as NIA’s Mechanical Insulation Basics and NIA’s Insulation Installation videos is part of your subscription.

If I subscribe, how many people at my company have access to NIA’s Education Center?

Everyone at your company would have unlimited access to all the Education Center courses.

Can you start a course and finish it later?

Yes! You can start and stop a course as needed. You can also replay a course you’ve already seen.

Do you have other courses other than insulation-specific courses?

Your subscription includes General Business courses, Human Resources courses, as well as Information Technology/Cybersecurity courses.

How long do courses typically take to complete?

Most courses are less than 30 minutes, and range anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 ½ hours in length.

How long does my subscription last?

Your subscription expires on December 31 of the year you subscribe.

How will we know when new content has been added?

There are a few places to learn about new content when it becomes available. The home page of the Education Center found here: niaeducationcenter.org will have featured courses at the bottom. We will also be publishing a subscriber newsletter twice a year to include new courses. You can also find new course information in NIA’s E-News Bulletins.

Which courses do you recommend for new employees or individuals who are new to the industry?

There are a few courses recommended for new employees: Mechanical Insulation Basics, Mechanical Insulation Installation Video Series, Protective Covering Types, and Mechanical Insulation Shapes or Forms. These are just a few suggestions to get you started!

Where can I track the courses I have started and completed?

When you are logged into the Education Center, click on “Profile” on the toolbar at the top of your screen. From this page, you can review all of your course activity and any certificates of completion you’ve received.

Is there free content for NIA members?

Yes! On the Explore Courses page, you can now browse by selecting "Free for NIA members" to see the list of all courses that available as part of your NIA membership.

How do I log in?

Visit www.niaeducationcenter.org and click “Sign In” in the upper right-hand corner of the page. Use your email that is used to receive NIA communications. Enter your password to access the portal.

How do I reset my password?

On the sign-in page, there is an option to click “Forget your password?” to receive an email to reset your password.

Will new content be added every year?

Yes! NIA plans to add between 20 to30 courses each year to the platform. New courses will continuously be updated and available.
