On this Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving, NIA would like to thank all the supporters of NIA’s Foundation for Education, Training, and Industry Advancement, including our members who participated in our successful 2018 Silent Auction. NIA encourages all our member companies to consider a voluntary annual donation to help grow the industry and advance awareness of mechanical insulation.

With the oversight of the Foundation Steering Committee and overall Board approval, priorities are constantly reviewed and shifted based on funding levels and industry priorities. From the emphasis in the late 1990s to mid-2000s on education and outreach; to federal and state advocacy until the middle of the current decade; to a current, renewed emphasis on leading the charge in non-craft education and training resources, the Foundation remains committed to educating the target audiences responsible for increasing the use of insulation.
