El Conquistador Resort

NIA has blocked rooms at the El Conquistador Resort at a discounted rate per night, plus state and local taxes. The hotel service fee has been reduced to $35.00 plus tax, per room per day. Please be advised, when booking your hotel online the resort fee will not reflect the discounted rate, but your final hotel invoice will.

All rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Take advantage of NIA's discounted rate by making your reservation before February 26, 2026. Please make your room early to guarantee your preference and we are anticipating to sell out of the room block. Limited rooms are available before and after the event dates.

A deposit of 1 night is required when booking. Guests must cancel reservations 3 days before arrival to avoid a cancellation fee of 1 nights’ deposit.

Hotel Room Types

NIA has secured two different style rooms at the El Conquistador Resort. Please review the options below before booking.

Las Brisas Ocean View Room: $239.00 (per night, exclusive of tax and resort fees). This room has not been partially renovated and this room type includes a balcony.
Las Vista Ocean View Room: $289.00 (per night, exclusive of tax and resort fees). This room has been fully renovated but this room type does not include a balcony.

Hotel Policies

Additional Room Guests Policy: There is no charge for children sixteen (16) years of age and under, sharing the same room as the parents and using existing bedding. There will be an additional charge of $40.00 for the third and $40.00 for the fourth adult seventeen (17) years of age or older in a room. The maximum number of persons per room is four (4).

Extended Stay Policy: If you are interested in extending your stay outside of Saturday, March 21 or Tuesday, March 31, please contact the hotel directly at reservations@elconresort.com.

Hotel Resort Service Fee

The resort fee for NIA guests is reduced to $35 per night (plus 9% tax, applicable on the room rate and resort charge) and including the following:

Daily entrance to Coqui Water Park and outdoor pools
Daily Transportation to and from Palomino Island
Daily Wi-Fi access
Daily in-room bottled water
Access to 24/7 fitness center
On-site weekly resort activities
Pickleball course
Tennis Courts

Coqui Water Park and Outdoor Pools: At El Conquistador's Coqui Water Park, prepare to embark on an exhilarating aquatic adventure like no other. The park was constructed and opened in 2007, featuring three exciting slides named "Huracan," "Gigante Dormido," and "Marohu." For those seeking a more leisurely aquatic experience, meander along the winding lazy river, where gentle currents carry you through lush tropical landscapes, or indulge at the expansive infinity-edge pool, perched to overlook the Caribbean sea. Free daily entry is included for all overnight guests.

Transportation & Parking

El Conquistador is located an hour from Luis Munoz Marin Airport in San Juan (SJU). The hotel does offer an airport shuttle for a fee. Uber/Lyfts are also available from the airport.
