NIA’s Fall Summit is an annual members-only event that brings together the mechanical insulation industry for education, training, and networking. Fall Summit is designed to “Educate, Engage, and Elevate,” by providing actionable content and networking opportunities for attendees to build their businesses. Education, peer-to-peer learning, and the exchange of ideas are important components of the member-led industry sessions.
Recently, some members received a fraudulent phishing email from Julie.Allison@Lead-Essential.com, and we can assure you that NIA has not partnered with any organization to share attendee information. If you receive an email like this, the best course of action is to block the sender and delete the email from your inbox. In the October E-News Bulletin, we shared how NIA has recently partnered with more than 100 organizations to urge the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to immediately address and protect associations and their members from fraudulent event marketing like this. Click here to read the letter to asking the FTC and DOJ to address and combat these deceptive practices. NIA’s data is secure, and member information is never sold to third parties. Any claims offering to sell NIA membership or event attendee information are scams.
As a reminder, the 2020 Presidential Election is taking place on Tuesday, November 3. Click here for more information about early voting and absentee voting, which varies by state.
NIA’s Fall Summit is an exclusive event for NIA members and focuses on the work of our committees and educational training sessions on various industry and professional topics. NIA’s committees address current issues affecting all segments of the commercial and industrial insulation industry and give members an opportunity to share industry knowledge and advance the objectives of each committee. You do not have to be a committee member to attend any of these meetings and your participation is welcome and encouraged. Click here.
