NIA’s 64th Annual Convention Registration

NIA’s 64^th Annual Convention is open to NIA members, Thermal Insulation Association of Canada (TIAC) members, and non-members in the mechanical insulation industry. NIA members who register online will be asked to enter their user name and password. If you do not have this information, email niainfo@insulation.org or call 703-464-6422 for assistance. Register by March 4, 2019, and take advantage of the early-bird rate. Payment must be received by March 4, 2019, in order to qualify for the early-bird rate.

Important Note: A Passport is required to travel to the Bahamas. Please check your Passport to make sure it’s not expired and that you are traveling at least 6 months before the printed expiration date. Children will also need valid passports.

NIA Convention Attendance and Entertainment Policies

NIA’s Convention Committee designed this year’s program with members in mind to ensure a balance of quality education, networking events, and fun. We appreciate your support of this schedule and, per NIA’s Meetings I-3, Member Entertainment/Meeting Policy, we ask that there be no independent or company-planned entertainment, golf outings, or meetings during scheduled NIA Convention sessions, programs, or events. Additionally, we ask that all Convention attendees adhere to the 6:1 ratio for entertaining on Thursday’s open evening. (One paid Convention attendee may entertain 6 other paid Convention registrants.) No individual event or daily Convention registration rates are available. All children must register (even if there is no cost) in order to attend Convention functions. Anyone working in the industry must register at the appropriate member/non-member rate and may not register as a spouse/guest. By registering for this event, you agree that your image may be used and distributed in NIA communications and media.

Registration Fees

Convention registration fees include 2 continental and 1 full breakfast, 1 lunch, 2 full dinners (with open bars), 2 nights of entertainment, and all educational sessions. Please choose the price corresponding to your membership type.

Registration Discounts Available!

NIA member companies who send more than 2 attendees to the Convention will receive a $100 discount on third or additional registrants (spouses/guests and youth are not eligible for this discount). Cash/Check orders will also receive a discount. Payment must be received by March 4 in order to qualify for the early-bird rates. Add $100 per person to the standard registration rate for registrations received after March 20, including on-site registrations.

 * Spouse/Guest is defined as someone accompanying a paid registrant who does not work in the industry and will not be attending business or committee meetings

Optional Registration

NIA’s Golf Tournament (April 4)—$290 per player (includes all tournament costs, a box lunch, prizes, GPS golf cart, a unique refreshment, and golf bag pick-up and return on the day of the tournament). All foursomes include a forecaddie, and gratuity is additional, the suggested gratuity for the tournament is $20 per person.

Optional club rentals are available through the golf course for $95 (Callaway, Taylor Made, or Titleist), and rentals include 6 golf balls, plus tax and will be billed by the course to your hotel reservation the day of the tournament.

Spouse Program—Pre-registration is recommended for the spouse program: Sea Glass Jewelry Class on Thursday, April 4. There is no additional fee for registered spouses to attend these programs. Space is limited, so sign up today!

Registration will not be complete until payment has been received by NIA. Early-bird registration rates are only available if payment is received by March 4, 2019. You may send NIA a check, call the office with your credit card number at 703-464-6422, or fax your payment information to 703-464-5896. Registration Policies

Convention Registration Fee Refunds

All refund requests MUST be made in writing. Refunds will be disbursed as follows: Before February 1, 2019: full refund; after February 1, 2019: 50% registration fee refunded; after March 4, 2019: 25% registration fee refunded; after March 20, 2019: no refund available. All refunds will be credited after the Convention.

Golf Tournament Fee Refunds

All refund requests must be made in writing. A full refund is available until March 4, 2019. After March 4, 2019, there will be no tournament refunds.
